As a Cloud Solution Architect , you will help some of the best-known startups in the world solve their demanding challenges by implementing Azure & AWS cloud products through architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and much more. You will use your expertise to help our clients in large-scale system design, problem-solving, coding, algorithms, and complexity analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Help design state-of-the-art technical solutions on Azure & AWS that address customers’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance while leveraging existing cloud investments.

  • Consult, mentor, and coach our customers in their journey to develop resilient, high-performing, and cost-efficient stacks.

  • Work at least 60% of your time with customers, invest up to 30% of your time in learning new technologies related to your field of expertise.

  • Troubleshoot escalated support tickets.

  • Inspire and cultivate the engineering mindset and systems thinking within the team.

  • Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field involving systems engineering (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.

  • Significant experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or other automation and/or configuration toolsets.

  • Familiar with infrastructure as code, specifically Terraform, Azure & AWS Resource Manager.

  • Experience with software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD toolchains, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub.

  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

  • Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, or shell scripting.

  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration (e.g., filesystems, inodes, system calls) or networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network topologies and hardware, SDN).

  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
