This hybrid role combines hands-on data engineering with strategic data architecture, supporting advanced analytics and investment decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica IICS, Snowflake, and cloud data platforms, along with strong experience in the investment/financial services domain. The role requires active collaboration with business stakeholders to define data strategies and deliver high-quality solutions

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture

  • Define and implement enterprise data architecture aligned with business and investment strategies.

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models and frameworks.

  • Establish data governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.

  • Lead data platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.

Data Engineering

  • Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS.

  • Build and optimize data solutions on Snowflake for performance and scalability.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines.

  • Handle large-scale structured and unstructured data efficiently.

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

  • Engage with business users (finance, investment, and operations teams) to gather and refine requirements.

  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and data models.

  • Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable reporting and insights.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.

Job requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles.

  • Strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Data Integration, Data Quality, Application Integration).

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, optimization, performance tuning).

  • Strong knowledge of data modelling (dimensional, normalized, and enterprise models).

  • Experience in cloud platforms.

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing.

  • Proven experience designing end-to-end data solutions.

Domain Expertise

  • Experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services.

  • Understanding of financial data, portfolio analytics, and reporting frameworks.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in financial environments.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

  • Strong leadership, ownership, and mentoring capabilities.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools.

  • Knowledge of data governance and data catalog tools.
