Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN and Wireless network environments across global office locations.

  • Ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance of network infrastructure.

  • Plan and support office moves, expansions, and renewals in line with standard network designs.

  • Perform wireless design, optimization, and coverage planning, including high-density environments.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide advanced troubleshooting for network issues.

  • Support and improve wireless performance for voice applications (e.g., Microsoft Teams).

  • Collaborate with Real Estate, Service Delivery, and Operations teams globally.

  • Manage vendor relationships, hardware lifecycle, and service roadmaps.

  • Evaluate Managed Service Providers and their technical capabilities.

  • Track network availability and eliminate recurring incidents through technical improvements.

  • Produce documentation, technical standards, and provide knowledge transfer to teams.

  • Participate in global projects and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Job requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in LAN/WAN and enterprise wireless network design.

  • Proven expertise with Aruba Wireless (design, management, standardization).

  • Hands-on experience with wireless survey tools (Airwave VisualRF preferred, Ekahau, or AirMagnet).

  • Deep understanding of:

    • 802.11 standards

    • RF propagation and antenna technologies

    • Interference and coexistence analysis

    • High-density wireless environments

  • Experience with SD-WAN (VeloCloud) and related transport technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols and tiered network architectures.

  • Experience supporting voice over Wi-Fi solutions (e.g., Microsoft Teams).

  • Ability to design networks for high availability and resilience.

Professional & Soft Skills

  • Experience working in global / multinational environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead troubleshooting sessions and drive issue resolution.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly.

  • German language level B2 or higher is mandatory.

  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in teams.

  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and continuous learning mindset.
