Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.

  • Monitor server performance, availability, and security.

  • Perform regular updates, backups, and system audits.

  • Troubleshoot server-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

  • Collaborate with network and software teams to ensure seamless service integration.

  • Maintain documentation related to infrastructure and procedures.

  • Assist in the implementation of new technologies and infrastructure improvements.

Job requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  2. 1–3 years of hands-on experience in server administration or systems engineering.

  3. Solid understanding of Linux/Unix-based systems (Windows Server experience is a plus).

  4. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V).

  5. Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security protocols.

  6. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.

  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  8. Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Greek is a plus.
