Job description

At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking an Integrations Specialist to join one of our clients' team. Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end integration lifecycle for new and existing clients.

  • Coordinate integrations involving APIs, webhooks, host-to-host connections, SFTP, VPNs, IP configurations, and secure file transfers.

  • Own the testing of integrations, including interface behaviour, connectivity, and the contents of interface files.

  • Work with technical teams to define, document, and successfully deliver interface requirements.

  • Coordinate connectivity setups and ensure stable and secure communication between internal and external systems.

  • Support clients with technical questions regarding interfaces, configurations, connectivity, and integration requirements.

  • Manage payment certification activities in cooperation with clients, card schemes, third-party providers, project managers, and internal teams.

  • Execute and support online transaction and clearing test cases based on card-scheme or third-party certification plans.

  • Prepare, review, and submit certification documentation and scheme-required forms.

  • Create, monitor, and manage integration-related JIRA tickets, including incidents, inquiries, service requests, and change requests.

  • Ensure tickets are properly documented, prioritised, followed up, and resolved within the expected timelines.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex or high-priority integration and certification issues.

  • Support other members of the Certifications and Integrations team with technical and operational guidance.

  • Assist with workload prioritisation and the distribution of integration and certification tasks.

  • Monitor progress against departmental KPIs, delivery targets, project plans, and agreed schedules.

  • Provide regular progress reports and escalation summaries to management.

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, card schemes, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration and certification processes, documentation, and delivery standards.

Job requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in integrations, API development, and the payments industry.

  • Strong understanding of web APIs and related integration technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.

  • Hands-on experience with different integration methods, such as APIs, webhooks, host-to-host connections, SFTP, VPNs, and secure file transfers.

  • Experience testing technical interfaces and validating data or file-based integrations.

  • Understanding of payment processing, card-scheme certification, online transactions, and clearing processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, interruptions, and changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to take end-to-end ownership of technical assignments and client integrations.

  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse and international environment.

  • High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and programming languages.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working with JIRA and Confluence.

  • Experience with payment service providers, acquiring platforms, banks, card processors, or financial technology companies.

  • Familiarity with card-scheme certification requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Previous experience supporting or mentoring technical integration teams.
