About This Role

The Finance Executive will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires expertise in financial management, and accounting, along with strong analytical skills to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

· Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

· Posting of invoices, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Perform debtor reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.

· Conduct related parties reconciliation to maintain transparency and compliance.

· Maintain and manage the fixed assets registry, ensuring accurate records and depreciation calculations.

· Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of transactions and balances.

Accounts Management & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.

· Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.

· Prepare for bank reconciliations

· Upload payments and creditors reconciliations

· Hand petty cash accounts

Cash Flow & Risk Management

· Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability and operational continuity.

· Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

· Optimize working capital and manage company investments.

E-Commerce & Retail Finance

· Oversee financial transactions related to online sales, payment gateways, and refunds.

· Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory costs.

· Analyze e-commerce profitability and suggest cost-saving initiatives.

Collaboration & Strategy

· Work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute financial strategies.

· Provide financial insights for business growth, expansion, and investments.

· Support pricing strategies and promotional planning with financial data.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. (CPA, Early Stages ACCA, or CFA preferred).

· 3+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in retail or e-commerce.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Shireburn and Navation).

· Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and financial reporting standards.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
