Job requirements

About the Role:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Data Privacy Officer to ensure our organization complies with data protection laws and internal privacy policies. You will oversee data handling practices, advise on regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR), and support data protection initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with data protection laws and internal privacy policies.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities and internal stakeholders.

  • Advise on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and risk mitigation.

  • Conduct audits, trainings, and awareness programs on data privacy.

  • Review and draft data processing agreements and privacy notices.

  • Respond to data subject access requests (DSARs) and manage incidents involving personal data.

  • Stay current with evolving data privacy regulations and recommend necessary updates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data protection, compliance, or legal advisory roles.

  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations.

  • Excellent understanding of data security principles and privacy-by-design.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
