At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join one of our clients' Tax Advisory team. This is a great opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects with both local and international clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead tax-planning and implementation strategies to optimize clients’ tax liabilities.

  • Provide expert advice on tax considerations in corporate restructuring, financing, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investments, and other transactions.

  • Support international and local clients with ad-hoc tax advisory engagements.

  • Assist in tax compliance and execution, including corporate tax returns and refund applications.

  • Participate in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.

  • Deliver technical training and provide ongoing technical support to the accounting and audit teams.

  • Stay up to date with local and international direct tax developments.

  • Identify opportunities for business growth within the unit.

  • Reassess and improve systems and processes where necessary.

  • Mentor junior team members, acting as their main point of contact and reviewing their work.

Job requirements

You’re great at:

  • Meeting deadlines and delivering results on time.

  • Communicating clearly and effectively in both English and Maltese; knowledge of a third language is considered an asset.

  • Working independently as well as within a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

  • Building lasting relationships with clients and delivering exceptional service.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • ACCA qualified (or equivalent).

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a CSP environment after obtaining qualifications.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Maltese tax legislation.
