Scrum Master

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate Agile delivery by running sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain a strong delivery rhythm.

• Remove blockers: identify and resolve impediments that slow down engineering teams and escalate when needed.

• Ensure backlog readiness: work with Product Managers and Business Analysts to ensure stories meet the Definition of Ready before sprint planning.

• Protect sprint commitments: help teams stay focused during the sprint and prevent scope disruption.

• Improve delivery processes: continuously refine team workflows, sprint structures, and collaboration practices.

• Promote transparency: track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and dependencies across teams.

• Enable cross-team coordination: align engineering, product, and operations when initiatives span multiple team

• Coach Agile practices: guide teams in Scrum principles and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  

What You Will Not Do:

• You won’t own product strategy or roadmap prioritization (CPO / PM).

• You won’t write detailed product requirements or specifications (BA/Product) unless you're willing to and have more context than the BA/CTO/Product.

• You won’t manage people’s performance or engineering evaluations, but you will provide your feedback to the PM/CTO.

• 2+ years experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Manager, or similar role.

• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles in a software development environment.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations).

• Strong facilitation and communication skills.

• Ability to identify blockers and drive resolution quickly.

• Experience supporting delivery for senior engineering teams.

• Solid knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira Cloud, Confluence)
  Nice-To-Have:

• Experience working in B2B SaaS or enterprise product environments.

• Familiarity with Agile metrics and reporting (velocity, capacity, burnup, burndown, etc.).

• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams or complex products.

• Technical literacy to effectively communicate with engineering teams
