Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Pre Sales position at Singapore with flexibility for remote work. The Pre Sales role involves tasks such as consulting with clients, providing customer service, engaging in pre-sales activities, and leveraging analytical skills to understand client needs.
Qualifications
- Currently working in Singapore as base location
- Around 4 - 6 years of strong Pre-Sales experience, preferably with a System Integrator
- Analytical Skills and Consulting abilities
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Pre Sales activities : Driving New Customer Acquisitions & managing existing Install Base
- Knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Platforms, AI/ML concepts
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Understanding of Agile Project Management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Demonstrations: Conduct technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase platform features and benefits to potential customers.
- Solution Architecture: Design and architect solutions based on customer requirements and use cases.
- Technical Consultation: Provide technical advice and guidance to customers on data engineering, data warehousing, and data analytics best practices.
- Product Expertise: Deep understanding of various Data Platform products, features, and capabilities.
- Customer Education: Educate customers on new technologies and how it can solve their business challenges.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to identify sales opportunities and close deals.
- Technical Training: Train customers and internal teams on various technologies and best practices.
Job requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong technical background in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud computing.
- Exposure in working with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure & GCP).
- Expertise in Databricks platform and its components (Delta Lake, Spark, MLflow) is preferred.
- Experience with tech stacks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Python, SQL, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
