Junior Audit Specialist

We are currently looking for a Junior Audit Specialist to join one of our clients' growing team in Nicosia, Cyprus. Your Responsibilities

As a Junior Audit Specialist, you will support the audit team throughout the entire audit process while developing your technical and professional skills. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in external audit engagements for clients across various industries.

• Performing audit procedures in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Conducting analytical reviews and documenting audit findings.

• Supporting the preparation of audit reports and working papers.

• Reviewing financial information and identifying inconsistencies or potential risks.

• Developing a strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements.

• Collaborating closely with senior auditors and other team members to ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and on time.

• Building strong technical knowledge through continuous learning and professional development.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in Audit or Accounting is considered an advantage.

• Currently pursuing, or willing to pursue, the ACCA qualification.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong attention to detail.
