About the Role:
The Head of Strategy and Transformation Office plays a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s strategic vision and driving transformational initiatives that align with our long-term objectives. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking leader with expertise in strategic planning, change management, and business transformation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing high-impact strategies within the financial sector and a strong understanding of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution

    • Develop and implement the bank’s long-term strategic vision, aligning with overall corporate objectives.

    • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to identify growth opportunities and threats.

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and goals.

    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and ensure seamless execution across departments.

  2. Transformation and Change Management

    • Lead transformational initiatives across the bank to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and foster innovation.

    • Design and manage change management strategies to ensure effective adoption of new processes, technologies, and cultural shifts.

    • Oversee the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones for key transformation initiatives.

    • Monitor progress and provide strategic guidance to keep projects aligned with goals and timelines.

  3. Performance Management and KPIs

    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success in strategic and transformation efforts.

    • Conduct regular performance assessments, track progress, and analyze data to inform decision-making.

    • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership on ways to improve performance and accelerate growth.

  4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

    • Act as the primary liaison between the Strategy and Transformation Office and other departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration.

    • Communicate strategic priorities, project updates, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, including the Board of Directors and external partners.

    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the bank’s vision and values.

  5. Digital and Operational Innovation

    • Identify and implement digital solutions and innovative practices that support the bank’s transformation goals.

    • Collaborate with IT and digital teams to integrate technology initiatives into the bank’s strategic roadmap.

    • Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and enhance service delivery.

  6. Leadership and Team Development

    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Strategy and Transformation team.

    • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Job requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic planning, business transformation, or management consulting, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

    • Proficiency in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and performance management.

    • Experience in digital transformation, innovation, and process improvement.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
