An innovative technology company is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales Director to expand the adoption of its Remote Monitoring and Control Center (RMCC) platform across multiple industries.

This role focuses on promoting the RMCC platform as both a remote monitoring center and, when required, a control center, allowing organizations to manage autonomous and semi-autonomous devices safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will build strategic relationships with OEMs, fleet operators, mobility providers, and system integrators, positioning the company’s teleoperation software as a critical safety layer and operational control backbone for autonomous and connected systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities and strategic partnerships for the RMCC and teleoperation software across sectors such as public transit, trucking, robotaxi, defense, and robotics.

  • Position the RMCC as a dual-purpose solution — both a monitoring platform and a control interface — enabling human oversight of autonomous and semi-autonomous systems.

  • Work with OEM partners that integrate teleoperation capabilities into vehicles, as well as fleet operators or end customers deploying the platform directly.

  • Support the promotion of specific autonomous vehicle technologies and partner solutions when it helps accelerate adoption of the RMCC platform.

  • Identify and develop new use cases where teleoperation adds value, including applications beyond fully autonomous systems (e.g., inspection or security robots).

  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to create compelling sales materials, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects showcasing the platform’s capabilities.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events, helping to educate the market about remote operation and safety technologies.

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve quarterly growth targets through consultative and relationship-driven sales.

Job requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B technology or mobility sales, preferably within autonomous systems, teleoperation, robotics, or intelligent transportation.

  • Proven record of building partnerships with OEMs, fleet operators, or defense contractors.

  • Strong technical literacy with cloud-based platforms, networking, and remote-control technologies.

  • Experience navigating regulated industries and working with public sector entities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic relationship management skills.

  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and driven to pioneer new markets.
