Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and maintaining servers, GPUs, and other infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance.

  • Software Management: Installing, updating, or removing software necessary for the service's operation, including cloud platform-specific tools.

  • Network Configuration: Trouble Shooting network connectivity issues to ensure services are accessible and performing as expected.

  • Backup and Recovery: Performing routine backups and restoring data to prevent downtime due to system failures

  • Performance Monitoring: Checking system performance metrics (CPU usage, memory, network traffic) to identify and resolve potential issues promptly.

  • User Support: Assisting end-users with technical queries related to the service, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

  • Incident Reporting: Documenting incidents, escalating them to higher levels if necessary, and contributing to incident response plans.

  • Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, QA, and Security to resolve issues and ensure compliance with service standards.

Job requirements

  • relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Proficiency in IT tools and technologies relevant to GPUaaS management, including cloud platforms and GPU resource management

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Service IT Technician or equivalent role within a similar environment.

  • Valid CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent. Additional certifications like LPIC can be advantageous

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration for managing GPU clusters.

  • Experience with GPU serverless architectures and cloud-native technologies for scalable applications.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, or other infrastructure automation platforms.
