Job Description :

We are looking for the right candidate for managing installations and repairs for client’s network systems and maintains the computer and network systems of our organisation. Duties include troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware and software issues, setting up computer networks and assisting employees and customers with it-related problems, responding to maintenance requests regarding system defects and other issues, troubleshooting problems with network systems by running tests and maintaining inventory for computer hardware.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Designing and installing computer networks, connections, and cabling

  • Troubleshooting system failures and identifying roadblocks in the network

  • Fixing problems in lan infrastructure and testing and configuring software

  • Maintaining and repairing hardware including peripheral devices

  • Evaluating network performance to improve the network

  • Scheduling upgrades and maintenance without interrupting business workflow

  • Providing technical direction and giving training to co-workers about network systems

  • Working with vendors to get needed equipment for the networks and systems

  • Serving as the first point of contact for it support within the organisation

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues

  • Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components

  • Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software

  • Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices

  • Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly

  • Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation


Job requirements

·        1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, computer repairs, or network troubleshooting.

·        Bachelor degree/Diploma or Level 4/5 qualification in IT/Networking (MCAST, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent).

·        Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN setup, cabling, routers, switches, and basic network protocols.

·        Proven ability to diagnose and repair hardware, peripherals, and software issues.

·        Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems (Windows/Linux basic level).

·        Understanding of system security, including antivirus, firewalls, and routine system updates.

·        Ability to evaluate network performance, identify faults, and carry out preventive maintenance.

·        Good communication skills with the ability to support users and provide first-level IT assistance.

·        Experience maintaining technical documentation, inventory records, and test reports.

·        Ability to work with vendors/suppliers to source equipment and support installations.
