KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

Regulatory Compliance & Governance  

• Oversee day-to-day compliance across all business activities, covering MiFID II, AML/CFT   

legislation, CSSF circulars, DORA, and relevant EU regulations.  

• Own the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internal policies,   

procedures, and the compliance monitoring programme.  

• Support the implementation of a governance structure aligned with the three lines of   

defense model.  

• Provide practical regulatory guidance to management on new initiatives, product   

development, and operational changes.  

AML/CFT & Financial Crime Prevention  

• Lead the AML/CFT framework, including institutional and client risk assessments,   

onboarding controls, ongoing monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting.  

• Work closely with digital onboarding and RegTech functions to ensure effective controls   

without compromising the client experience.  

Regulatory Interface  

• Serve as a key point of contact with the CSSF on supervisory matters, licence conditions,   

and regulatory reporting.  

• Prepare and coordinate regulatory submissions, respond to supervisory queries, and help   

maintain a constructive and transparent relationship with the regulator.  

Operational Resilience & ICT Governance  

• Work alongside Risk and IT on DORA-related implementation, ICT risk governance, incident   

reporting, and oversight of outsourced service providers.

Advisory & Culture  

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and the Board on regulatory developments,   

emerging risks, and compliance strategy.  

• Help set the tone from the top by embedding a strong compliance culture across the   

organisation from inception.  

Job requirements

Essential  

• Approximately ten (10) to twelve (12) years of relevant compliance experience within   

Luxembourg-regulated financial institutions.  

• Direct, hands-on exposure to the CSSF supervisory environment, including active   

interaction with the regulator.  

• Proven track record of managing regulatory expectations and navigating supervisory   

processes.  

• Strong working knowledge of MiFID II, AML/CFT requirements, and the regulatory   

framework applicable to investment firms.  

• Eligible, based on qualifications and experience, for CSSF approval as Responsable du   

Contrôle (RC) and MLRO.  

• Fluent English, written and spoken.  

Desirable  

• Experience in fintech, digital wealth management, or technology-enabled investment   

platforms.  

• Familiarity with Sharia-compliant investment products or Islamic finance principles.  

• Working proficiency in French.
