About the Role
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and understood.
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Avaloq implementation or enhancement projects.
Support solution design and align functional specifications with system capabilities.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and provide subject matter expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirement gathering and functional analysis sessions with stakeholders.
Translate business processes into functional specifications and ensure alignment with the Avaloq platform.
Support test planning, test case design, and validation of system changes.
Act as a functional lead in project streams, ensuring deliverables meet business objectives.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to developers and testers during the project lifecycle.
Job requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, ideally within banking or financial services.
Solid understanding of core banking processes such as payments, securities, client lifecycle management, and regulatory reporting.
Experience with Avaloq parameterization or Avaloq projects is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
University degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or arelated field.
Avaloq certification (ACP/ACFP) is an advantage.
Previous experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial services consulting is beneficial.
